About The Toyota Estima 1999 - 2006
Toyota Estima, also known as the Toyota Previa in Europe, and Toyota Tarago in Australia, is an MPV that was manufactured by Toyota from 1999 to 2006. Estima second generation had a longer wheel base, was narrower and lower than the first generation. The chassis was based on the Toyota Camry. It was manufactured with sliding rear passenger doors on either side and available in either six, seven or eight passenger seater and as like the previous generation the Toyota Estima was sold in Japan.
For the European markets it was available in both petrol and diesel engines. The diesel engine was available in a 2.0 L (1CD-FTV) and the petrol 2.4 L (2AZ-FE). Both trim models were available with five speed manual transmission as standard equipment. Toyota also offered an automatic transmission as an option with petrol powered model.
