Toyota Estima third generation was launched in 2006 in Japan and Australia markets as the Estima and Tarago, and in other markets as Toyota Previa. Third generation features Hybrid Synergy Drive as an option from the previous generation. drivetrain automatic parallel and reverse parking, Lane-Keep Assist (LKA) system which detects the lane markers on the road and steers the car on the right direction Adaptive Front-Lighting System low beam headlamps which assists to light up the upcoming road around a bend, track-mounted second row reclining seats with footrests, and power-folding split third row seats.
In 2009 Toyota Estima had undergone a facelift, new features such as G-BOOK was additional to the list of optional features. Active driver assist features such as Lane Keeping Assist and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control were offered as an option exclusively to V6 variants. In 2019, Toyota unveiled the Estima successor Granvia MPV, based on the newest Hi Ace model.
